Stick with your religious calling - Presidency tells General Secretary (CAN)


The Presidency, on Tuesday night, told the General Secretary of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Dr Musa Asake to confront his religious calling and not to interfere with legislative issues. 

Musa Asake The Presidency additionally exposed the assertion that President Muhammadu Buhari has damaged a few arrangements of the country's constitution. 

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu in an announcement in Abuja while responding to the announcement credited to the CAN recorder where he was said to have blamed the President for disregarding the arrangements of the constitution said that there was no part of the constitution that had been ruptured by the President. 

Shehu in the announcement stated, "Our consideration has been attracted to reports of a question and answer session by General Secretary of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Dr Musa Asake in which he passed a judgment on the dependability of specific activities of the Muhammadu Buhari organization. 

"Shockingly, he could (not) refer to any legitimate instances of sacred infringement. 

President Muhammadu government represents no risk to the nation's majority rules system and Constitution. "There are no instances of any infringement of our sacrosanct constitution and there will be none under this President. 

The regarded religious pioneer should adhere to his religious obligations and leave governmental issues for lawmakers."
